2/1/2024 0 Comments Light death note gif live![]() On the night of Higuchi's arrest, he is called to a private meeting by Shingo Mido and Suguru Shimura to discuss who Kira might be. He initially encourages the Yotsuba Kira, yet after receiving a telephone call from Light Yagami, he ceases participation and becomes an observer at the Meetings of Death. How to Read states that he detests useless subordinates. Namikawa has a talent in Shogi at the professional 4-dan level. His father is the president of Yotsuba's United States division. Namikawa spent six years in the United States and graduated from Harvard University's Business Department. He has tremendous social skills and an impressive ability to influence others. At that point, Namikawa jokes that he is surprised that even L can be fooled (not knowing he actually tricked Light instead). He is perhaps one of very few people able to trick someone like L, a detective well-known for his own intelligence. At one point, he is able to fool Light Yagami (pretending to be L at the time) into revealing that Kyosuke Higuchi was the prime suspect of the Kira investigation team, much to the annoyance of the real L. One of Namikawa's most notable features is his intelligence. However, he shows no noticeable qualms with partaking in the murder of Yotsuba's competitors, and sides with Kira until contacted directly by L. Namikawa is the Vice President of Sales at Yotsuba and is described in Death Note 13: How to Read as the "most talented" of the board members who has the potential to "make it to the top" without Kira. He is usually seen wearing a black suit with a white tie. He has brown eyes and long, thin eyebrows. To do this, the Japanese investigators count on the assistance of the best detective in the world: a young and eccentric man known only by the name of L.Namikawa has smooth, long, black hair which extends to his back. Police, however, quickly discover that a serial killer is targeting criminals and, consequently, try to apprehend the culprit. With this divine capability, Light decides to extinguish all criminals in order to build a new world where crime does not exist and people worship him as a god. When the criminal dies immediately following his experiment with the Death Note, Light is greatly surprised and quickly recognizes how devastating the power that has fallen into his hands could be. High school student and prodigy Light Yagami stumbles upon the Death Note and-since he deplores the state of the world-tests the deadly notebook by writing a criminal’s name in it. One day, Ryuk, bored by the shinigami lifestyle and interested in seeing how a human would use a Death Note, drops one into the human realm. Synopsis: A shinigami, as a god of death, can kill any person-provided they see their victim’s face and write their victim’s name in a notebook called a Death Note. ![]() Despite my somewhat indifferent review of the show, I really did enjoy the ending. ![]() For this reason, I did not like watching Attack on Titan or Death Note as much as I would have if there were real people playing the roles. I am not someone who is opposed to watching actual gory films or shows, yet if it is animated it will instantly give me a headache. I typically feel sick after watching animated shows for a while, especially if they are dull colored and pretty gory. I was not a huge fan of the show, I still am not, but that scene is the whole reason why I liked the anime. Despite the disappointment I felt after Light died, I thoroughly enjoyed the ending. I guess I was expecting Light to live on, I am not sure. I don’t know how I did not see that coming, but it was really shocking for me. Upon first reading this I instantly thought of Death Note‘s ending, where (spoiler alert) Light ends up dying. ![]() As long as you don’t look at the date of my posts, you will never know the difference. I know it is a long title, but it accurately describes my lack of posts. I might as well rename this to the every other day 30 day anime challenge.
